Gumbuya Park

Gumbuya Park is a small amusement park in Tynong North, Victoria, near Pakenham, Melbourne, Australia. It features a Toboggan Slide, Water Slide, Paddle Boats, "Mini Cars", "Twister Karts" Dune Buggys and Mini Golf. Themed as "Nature's Playground", it also features a wide variety of native Australian wildlife including Kangaroos, Wallabies, Australian birds, Wombats, Dingoes, Tiger Quolls, Koalas and Emus, some of which can be hand-fed. It is quite a large park, totalling around 430 Acres〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Gumbuya Park )〕 in area containing around 60 barbecue and picnic areas〔 and a restaurant with adjourning function centre set amongst the surrounding bushland. Originally a pheasant farm, it was converted into a wildlife park in 1978 by the late Ron Rado. The Greenleaf restaurant was built in 1981.〔
In October 2011, vandals exploded part of the pheasant statue out the front. A man was arrested over the incident. This follows earlier vandalism incidents, including the theft of mini cars and motor karts.
